QUINTESSENZA

The beautiful city of Munich and the splendid Konsum163 gallery will once again host this new adventure of mine, which I will share with the well-known German conceptual artist Robert Lang. -"Quintessenza is the fifth element in the teachings of Aristotle, the Ether, which frees us from things and realities, and places the objects on a metaphysical level. A paradise and a challenge at the same time" - I am quoting my curator, Carsten Lehmann, who thus describes the idea . I would like to add the words by the great poet Robert Frost: “Poetry ( or Art) is what gets lost in translation". It is the Elusive, the Unmeasurable, the Untranslatable. It's what disorientates us when we try to frame it, but enchants us and satisfies us as pure experience. It's something primitive but also extremely sophisticated. For artists it is an innate challenge, a game that requires permeability, detachment and, at the same time, total immersion. A madness that ends in a graceful gesture.

I hope that this exhibition will bring with it some of this madness capable of touching the heart.
