A very special exhibition opens on October 5th. Rome will host a group of contemporary German and Austrian artists. The exhibition will be held in the splendid Galleria Tibaldi, a space dedicated to the contemporary, a few steps from the banks of Tiber and the Macro Testaccio Museum or Ex Mattatoio, an important area for cultural and artistic events in the capital. Roberto Tibaldi, owner of the gallery and artist, Brazilian by birth, opens the doors to Konsum163, a Munich gallery, well rooted in Germany, which goes beyond national borders with some of its best artists.
And what about this captivating title "Is German Art blonde?". Carsten Lehman, the curator of the exhibition, makes us think about cultural stereotypes in an intelligent way. Is there transversality between artists in terms of themes and obsessions? How much Art crosses borders and speaks directly to our common transcultural matrix?
It is an event not to be missed.
And Rome, in October, is wonderful!
